This continuous lighting kit provides the equivalent of 175-600W of light without the heat. Two daylight corrected 5500k 85W & 35W fluorescent lamps with umbrella / brollybox holder make product photography easy.

Each lamp holder has a separate switch. By using the two globes in combination 3 power levels are available:

Small globe only : 175W

Large globe only : 425w

Both globes together : 600w

These are great for video lighting or product photography, and just bright enough for still portraits with a good camera (typical settings 1/125th at f2.8 on ISO200 - check your camera is capable of this). I would recommend a 2nd light for better results - or a studio flash instead.

A light stand - tall enough that the light can be directed down onto the items being photographed - my 180cm stands suit most purposes

An umbrella or brollybox (umbrella softbox) to soften the light

NB : Continuous lights ARE NOT compatible with conventional softboxes - however brollyboxes will work and I do sell a specific softbox with a built in globe holder.

While the globes are well packed before postage breakage in the mail is NOT covered unless you pay for registered post. The globes should always be screwed in holding the base, NOT by the glass.

Other items such as the light stand & umbrella are for illustration purposes and can be purchased separately.
