This filter pack contains 25 Rosco special effect gels for a wide range of uses, and enough velcro to attach the gels to two speedlight flashes.

It includes the more vivid colour correction gels, a full range of the colour correction gels and neutral density which decrease the amount of light without changing the colour. These gels can be used to create a huge range of effects with coloured light, from subtle to eye catching!

The gels are specially cut to 5cm x 12.5cm (2" x 5") to suit almost any speedlight flash (unlike the Rosco sample gels which are too small to provide full cover for most flashes). The filters can be easily attached to your flash with Velcro included in the kit. This can be cut into 4 pieces which should then be mounted on the side of 2 flashes. The velcro can also be used in conjunction with the Honl speedstraps if you prefer not to have velcro permanently mounted on the flash.

Rosco gels are highly heat resistant, however some flashes can get very hot especially on full power. To avoid damage, arc the gel over the front element of the flash and leave a small gap of air for the flash energy to dissipate.

Light Blue
Dark Blue

The gels above are for special effects and will give vibrant eye catching colours.

Neutral density gels decrease the amount of light without changing the colour.

Full CTO (converts 5500K to 2900K)
1/2 CTO (converts 5500K to 3800K)
1/4 CTO (converts 5500K to 4500K)
1/8 CTO (converts 5500K to 4900K)

CTO (Colour To Orange) gels are used to decrease the colour temperature of your flash to match tungsten and incandescent lighting i.e. normal household lights or halogens.

Full CTS (converts 5500K to 2900K)
1/2 CTS (converts 5500K to 3800K)
1/4 CTS (converts 5500K to 4500K)
1/8 CTS (converts 5500K to 4900K)

CTS (Colour To Straw) gels are similar to CTO but are a more yellow / less red colour which suits skin tones better especially when shot on digital cameras.

Full CTB (converts 5500K to 7800K)
1/2 CTB (converts 5500K to 6400K)
1/4 CTB (converts 5500K to 5800K)
1/8 CTB (converts 5500K to 5600K)

CTB (Colour To Blue) gels are used to increase the colour temperature of your flash to match overcast lighting outdoors.
