The Yongnou MC-36R is a multi function wireless remote control with advanced timer facilities.The 2.4GHz radio frequency reduces interference and guarantees reliable performance.

* Instantaneous mode :
A half press of the remote button activates autofocus, a full press operates the shutter immediately.

* Bulb mode :
The shutter remains open as long as the remote button is pressed and the MC-36R displays elapsed time on its LCD screen. The shutter can be locked open for long exposures by sliding the shutter button forwards.

* Time delay mode :
- Initial delay: 0s to 99hrs 59min 59s in one-second increments
- Exposure time (in bulb mode) : 0s to 99hrs 59min 59s in one-second increments. Controlled by camera in all other camera modes
- Interval between shots : 1s to 99hrs 59min 59s in one-second increments
- Number of shots: 1 to 399 , plus unlimited mode
