The RF602 are 2.4GHz wireless flash triggers. They can can also be used as wireless shutter remotes by purchasing an additional shutter cable. To use both functions simultaneously you will need TWO full sets of triggers on different channels (or 1x RF602 and 1x V4 set) as electronic flashes trigger before the mechanical shutter has time to open.

Wireless Flash Trigger:
As a flash trigger, RF-602s will trigger both Speedlite and studio flashes, both hotshoe mount and cables are included. Flash sync speed is up to 1/250s depending on your cameras standard sync speed.

Wireless Shutter release:
Requires shutter release cable, sold separately.
A half press of the remote button activates auto focus (unless this is switched off in your cameras options). A full press activates the shutter. Holding the button down controls continuous or long exposure shooting.

Specifications:
Type: 2.4 GHz wireless flash trigger and shutter remote system
Transmitter Range: 100M outdoors
Channels: 15 channels plus ALL channel mode
Shutter Release: shutter release, auto focus & bulb mode supported
Transmitter terminal: PC 3-pin input terminal
Receiver terminal: 3-pin output terminal
Battery life: Up to 20,000 shots (using CR2 lithium battery)
Receiver Stand-by time: Up to 45 hours (using AAA battery)
Flash wake up feature NOT supported by SB600, but triggering works fine

There are two versions of the R-602 trigger sets; only the transmitter shoe is different. This listing is for the Nikon Transmitter.
* Pentax users report slow sync speeds (1/125) unless the transmitter button is 1/2 pressed before each shot. We recommend V4s as they work at 1/160 reliably with Pentax SLRs.
