This arm is designed for holding lights, reflectors and pop up backdrops. It can be hand held or mounted to stands via the built in spigot - bracket sold separately.

As a boom the arm is suited for use with speedlights, small heads such as our RD 600 or an Elinchrom Quadra with umbrellas and softboxes.

Alternatively a backdrop or reflector is easily attached with the two spring loaded grip clamps.

The arm can be mounted to a light stand via one of our $60 chunky metal bracket or our $50 grip head. We recommend one of our all metal light stands for this use, plastic brackets may crack.

Sandbags are also recommended when using this arm mounted to a stand.
